Why Tournament Experience Matters in Chess
Chess tournaments play an important role in a player’s development. Regular competitive play allows students to apply what they learn during chess coaching in real tournament situations.
Tournament participation helps young players develop:
- Calculation and tactical skills
- Opening preparation
- Strategic thinking
- Time-management skills
- Concentration and focus
- Decision-making under pressure
- Confidence in competitive situations
At ProChess INDIA, we believe that chess development goes beyond learning openings and tactics. Playing competitive games, analysing mistakes, and learning from every tournament are essential parts of becoming a stronger chess player.
Congratulations to All Our Players
We congratulate Swaara Shah, Daanish Arora, Payas Shah, Jinay Patel, Ganya Hatharasighe, Senaya Wanniarachie, and Dinel Kumaranayake on their performances at the Trentwood Hub Chess Tournament.
Every tournament is an opportunity to learn, improve, and take another step forward in a player’s chess journey.
We are proud to see our students and former students competing with determination and continuing to pursue excellence in chess.
Congratulations to all the participants, and a special well done to Swaara Shah for her 3rd-place finish!
Onwards and upwards!
